Last year, a week before our family summer vacation in August,
I met with Carla to discuss training. I have always worked out regularly, whether it be running or strength training and I have always had a "decent" diet. I didn't eat a lot of carbs or junk, no sodas at all, and
very minimal alcohol consumption, however I knew i wasn't
doing something right because I wasn't seeing a
change in my body likeI expected.
I was about to turn 50 and wanted to see real change in my body.
After meeting with Carla, I decided to sign up. I had no idea what
I was getting into, but I was determined!
Over the last year, I have learned SO much about exercise and FOOD.
I am a nurse practitioner and I talk to people about diet and weight
loss every single day, and I can now tell them from first hand
knowledge how less food is not better. It is, "WHAT KIND OF FOOD"
we put in our bodies that matters. I am eating more and she
scaled my workouts down tremendously because
I was actually over training.
This process has taught me so much and I'm so shocked at how my body has changed. I have never been this lean and toned in my LIFE!
It's not easy and it takes discipline and time, but it is so rewarding
to see the transformation my body has undergone.
Carla is so knowledgeable and so easy to work with, she's always quick to respond to texts, and ALWAYS available for encouragement.
She is absolutely my biggest cheerleader!
You can spend your money on weight loss shots, shakes, pills, or whatever the latest and greatest concoction on the market is, but
those results will be temporary! If you're going to invest in
yourself, do it with someone who can guide you with
not only the exercise part but also the nutrition part!
It's not magic, there is no "easy" fix, but it's so rewarding in the end!

These past 6 months have been challenging but very rewarding! If you are wanting to see a change in your lifestyle, confidence, and overall being - Carla is your lady. I have learned so much from nutrition, PROPER form, and just how important steps are. I will continue to work with Carla, this isn’t the end! My biggest goal out of this is the nutrition part. I’ve always eaten well but knowing what exactly I need and how to manage carbs/fats/proteins in an intuitive way.
